Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between nofollow, sponsored and UGC?

All are hints that a link shouldn’t pass full endorsement: sponsored marks paid links, UGC marks user-generated content, nofollow is the generic form. Google treats all three as hints.

How do I know if my backlink is dofollow?

Run this tool on the linking page — if your link shows no nofollow/sponsored/UGC rel attribute, it passes value.
